1. Event Overview

The 3rd Annual Screenwriters Workshop (the “Event”) is organized by Strike Star Entertainment and will be held on the grounds of Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (the “College”). By attending the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Liability Disclaimer

Neither Strike Star Entertainment nor the College, including its affiliates, staff, or representatives, shall be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or theft to persons or property during the Event. Attendees participate at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings.

3. Media Consent

By attending the Event, you grant permission to Strike Star Entertainment and the College to capture photographs, audio, and video recordings of you. These materials may be used for promotional, commercial, or educational purposes without compensation or further consent.

4. Data Protection and Privacy

In compliance with Jamaica’s Data Protection Act 2020, your personal data may be collected for registration and communication purposes. By providing your information, you consent to its processing in accordance with the Act’s principles, including fairness, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, and security. 5. Code of Conduct

Attendees are expected to maintain respectful behavior throughout the Event. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct may result in removal from the Event without refund.

6. Changes and Cancellations

Strike Star Entertainment reserves the right to modify or cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registered attendees will be notified promptly, and appropriate arrangements will be made.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jamaica.

By attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
